- A6820070052. The work of this project consists of replacing the roof at historic Kettle Falls Hotel located within Voyageurs National Park, International Falls, MN. The work includes replacing approximately 4,200 square feet of 3-tab asphalt shingles at a slope of 7" in 12", and replacing approximately 850 square feet of rolled roofing at a slope of 1 ?" in 12", Also, two chimneys will have approximately the top two courses of brick replaced and re-mortared. Contractor must submit documentation showing experience installing this type of roof and certification that the contractor is a licensed contractor. Work to be completed between September 4 and September 27 2007. NAICS 238160 Roofing Contractors. This solicitation is set aside for emerging small businesses. Estimated price under $25,000. Wage Determination General Decision Number: MN070007 02/23/2007 MN7 applies. The historic Kettle Falls Hotel has no road access and can only be reached by boat travel. The closest mainland boat access is from the community of Ash River, a 15 mile one-way boat trip. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Hard copy quote documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation. No faxed or electronic quote documents will be accepted due to the requirement for samples to be submitted as part of the quotation package. Quotes must be received at Voyageurs National Park, 3131 Hwy 53, International Falls, MN 56649 by 2:00 p.m. CDT on May 18, 2007. Vendors submitting quotes must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and have completed their online Representations and Certifications. Both registrations may be done thorough http://www.bpn.gov. A complete quote package shall include one copy of completed SF 18, Request for Quotation, with original signature; documentation/certification as licensed contractor; and product samples as called for in the Scope of Work.
