- Description
- This acquisition is being advertised as a ?HUBZONE Set-Aside? for companies located in central Florida and is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program (SBCDP). The intention of this solicitation is to obtain labor, equipment, and materials to provide backflow prevention devices for fire suppression, reverse osmosis and heat exchange supply lines and tamper switches for various facilities located throughout Patrick AFB, FL, utilizing a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The prospective contractor shall provide demolition and new work to include, but not limited to, installation of double detector check valve assemblies and related piping. The NAICS Code for this Solicitation is 238220, with a Size Standard of $13,000,000.00, and a Magnitude between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total period of performance shall not exceed 60 calendar days. Paper copies are not available and telegraphic and facsimile proposals will not be accepted. A site visit will be conducted on April 25, 2007 at 0900 in building 535?s second floor conference room #1 on Patrick AFB, FL. The Government shall award a contract to an offeror based on the Government?s technical evaluation, price analysis, and negotiated agreement between the parties of a fair and reasonable price for effort that conforms to the terms and conditions set forth in this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals at any time prior to award, to negotiate with any and/or all offerors, to award the contact to other than the offeror submitting the lowest total price, and to award to the offeror submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. In accordance with FAR 19.13, any award under this solicitation will be made on a competitive basis to an Eligible ?HUBZone Business Concern?. Therefore, offers should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms. Offerors should not assume that they will be contacted or afforded an opportunity to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. Firms submitting technical and price proposals will not be compensated. The anticipated award date is on or about May 18, 2007. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business, or who are interested in conducting business, with DoD.
