- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Jewish Rabbi Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex, located at 846 N.E. 45th Terrace, Coleman, FL 33521. The Contractor will be responsible for providing services to include: instruction in the Jewish faith, pastoral leadership, counseling to Jewish inmates, pastoral care, visitation with inmates in the Special Housing Unit, leading Jewish inmates in corporate worship, providing Tora studies, and prayer with the Jewish inmates. Contractor qualifications include: must practice the Orthodox Jewish tradition, have a minimum of a Master degree in his theological faith tradition, and have a minimum of two years of pastoral experience. The total estimated quantity is 220 one hour sessions for the base period and each of the 4 option periods. Services will be rendered at the Camp, Low, Medium, Untied States Penitentiaries 1 and 2, which are all within the Federal Correctional Complex. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 23, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 22, 2007. Anticipated date of award is July 20,2007. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
