- The Government has a requirement for one (1) 6x4 van body truck, 54,000 pound GVWR. The truck will have a conventional cab, set-back front axle, and sleeper berth. The van body length will be 24 feet. The truck will be used by the Army to transport small arms ammunition and high explosives throughout the continental United States. DQ Request for Proposal (RFP) Number FFAP-P1-077398-N. Shipment is 180 days after receipt of order (ARO). This vehicle must meet the specifications in the Request for Proposal. For those seeking a copy of this Request for Proposal, it will be issued on or about March 15, 2007, close on MAY 4, 2007, and be available for downloading off of FedBizOpps(EPS at:[http://www.eps.gov]). NOTE: Amendment 1 is hereby issued to extend the closing date of the above listed solicitation to May 4, 2007, at 2:30 PM, Eastern Daylight Time and correct the submission address to: GSA Bid Room, 7th and D Streets, SW, Room 1065, Washington, DC 20407.
