- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is TIRMS-07-Q-00010 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-16. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is 100% Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. The Internal Revenue Service requires the following items meet or exceed the specifications described (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, new equipment only, no remanufactured products or "grey market" products) in the following contract line item numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001: InterMetro/Metro Super Erecta Standard Duty Utility Cart, Part Number MW402, 18"Wx30"L, open design, chrome-plated steel frame with three interchangeable shelves consisting of two chrome wire shelves and one solid stainless steel flat shelf with raised ship's edge consisting of a double thickness of 18-gauge steel at edges, two (2) one-piece chrome push handles, donut bumpers, and four (4) standard-duty 4LD 4" diameter swivel/resilient tread casters. Quantity needed: 38. CLIN 0002: Labor for assembly of CLIN 0001 utility carts. CLIN 0003: InterMetro/Metro Super Erecta Shelf Dolly Trucks - Wire, Part Number N566MBR, 24"Wx60"Lx63"H, open design, plated posts & aluminum dolly, four (4) wire shelves, posts, plastic split sleeves, truck dolly with wraparound bumper and two (2) 6P and two (2) BL6P brake lock/swivel lock combination casters. Quantity needed: 35. CLIN 0004: Labor for assembly of CLIN 0002 dolly trucks. CLIN 0005: Shipping charges (if any). Also include total weight of shipment, complete address of location where shipment is shipping from, and estimated number of days for delivery after order is received. Equal products shall meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in this solicitation and shall be clearly identified by brand name, if any; and make or model number. Complete detailed descriptive information shall also be provided for the specifications of the equal products. All FAR clauses and provisions may be read electronically at http://acqnet.gov/far. Offerors shall have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive award.
