- EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". CODE 0242.05 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR HUBZone SMALL BUSINESS. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY ? 1,200 EACH, ITEM DESCRIPTION: NSN 1377-01-178-6691, MH88 20.0 SECOND DELAY CARTRIDGE, USED FOR CARGO HOOK RELEASE MECHANISM. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT ? .000010 LBS EXPLOSIVE CLASS ? 1.4 FIRST ARTICLE TEST, PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY.
