Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has a requirement for four (4) GPS High Stability (GPS/HS) Rb Timing Modules (including 1 PPS, 10 Mpps, and IRIG-B outputs) with GPS Antenna Assembly with 50ft cable. The modules will be used as the time base in the Shipboard Acoustic Receiver/Transmitter System (SARTS) in support of Navy submarine acoustic testing. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm fixed price purchase order to EndRun Technologies. EndRun Technologies is the exclusive manufacturer of the GPS/HS Rb Timing Module, and these modules must be identical to those currently in the system being replicated to minimize system development and out-year ILS costs. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to res pond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 01 May 2007, at 5:00pm will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to Heather Valiga by e-mail at heather.valiga@navy.mil or by fax at (301) 227-3476 on or before 05/01/2007.
