- The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with Tel-Insturment, for 2 each combined Tranponder Test sets, P/n 90000087, NSN 6625-01-525-8166 This is a multi-function battery operated test set is designed to test Interrogators/Transponders including Mode S and IFF, TACAN/DME, and TCAS equipment. The item has been tested, verified, and validated for use with the aircraft in the fleet environment. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Section 60.302-1. Tel Insturment is considered the only supplier. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
