DRAFT SOLICITATION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON FEDTEDS UNDER SOLICITATION W912EP-07-Z-0003-- FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The proposed IRL-S, C-23/24 STA project will be located in St. Lucie County, Florida adjacent to C-24 and within the North St. Lucie River Water Control District (NSLRWCD) Storm Water Management System. The STA is bounded by the NSLRWCD Canals 69 and 70 t o the North, Central and South Florida (C&SF) Project canal C-24 to the west, NSLRWCD Canal 73 to the South, and NSLRWCD Header Canal and Canal 71 to East. The IRL-S, C-23/24 STA project is configured with multiple cells to provide several scenarios of flows, depths and treatment detention times. The STA is divided by County Road (CR) 613 with Cells 1 and 2 to the West and Cells 3, 4, and 5. Flow is from We st to East with inflow starting from C-24 and outflow releases made into the confluence point of the North St. Lucie River Water Control District (NSLRWCD) Header Canal and Canal 71, just east of CR 609. Outflow releases will be routed east to Canal 71 an d then to Ten Mile Creek. Water from the C-24 canal will be pumped into the west side of Cells 1 and 2. This pump station will have a capacity of 260 cfs. At the east side of Cells 1 and 2 the water is collected and sent under CR 613 by a gated culvert structure to the second pum p station. The second pump station will have a capacity of 240 cfs. The flow is then distributed inot the west side of Cells 3, 4, and 5 and sent under CR 609 by a gated culvert structure and released into Canal 71. Along the east side of each cell there will be two gated culvert structures to control the depth and discharges from each cell.
