- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The full announcement is posted on the US Army CECOM IBOP web site (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil) and includes the list of contract line item numbers and items, quantities, and unit of m easure for this effort; as well as provisions and clauses. The US Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Acquisition Center Washington intends to solicit and negotiate with Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS) of Beford, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, for the purchase of twelve months of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software maintenance for Motif (RT) computer software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by t he Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of de termining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.204-7004.
