Description

Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is seeking HUBZone certified companies who have the capability to perform reclamation of thermal windows for Gunner Primary Sight (GPS) used in all M1 combat vehicles. The reclamation process would include, but not be limi ted to removing the existing coating and recoating the windows to meet all specifications of Department of Army drawing number 9376977. The contractor would be responsible for all labor, parts, and material to perform the reclamation of these items. Appr oximately fifty (50) windows will be available on each shipment. The contractor would be responsible for arranging pick-up and return delivery. Turnaround time would be ten workdays from the date the company is notified the windows are ready for pickup u ntil the windows are returned to ANAD. Interested companies are requested to provide adequate documentation, literature, certifications, etc. showing your capability to perform this service. FOB Destination will apply. This requirement will be a set-asi de as a 100% competitive HUBZONE procurement. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet https://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 01 May 2007. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upo n any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposa ls may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejections of your bid.
