- The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL hereby gives notice of its intention to award a sole source purchase order to Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., 5100 Franklin Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588-3355 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This announcement is for the following items: Item 0001: Hitachi S-2600N Variable Pressure SEM, Part Number 51E-6195 to include ? Standard Tilt Eucentric Stage (40mm x 40mm);Hitachi Solid State BSE Detector w/3D mode; RR/DF/TC Unit; Knob Control Panel; DBC Interface; Anti-Vibration Pads for EDS; Auto Transformer; 19? Flat panel Monitor; Desk Jet Printer. Item 0002: Haskris R033R Water Recirculator / (Air-Cooled Version), Part Number HAS-RO33R. Item 0003: SwiftED Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis system, Part Number SwiftED to include ? An Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis system for SEMs. Main system components include: Standard Resolution X-ray detector: Si(Li) 137eV or better guaranteed (10mm2) with SATW (Super Atmospheric Thin Window) for detection of B-U. X-Stream X-ray acquisition system and detector control ? An IEEE 1394 based module that provides fully digital X-ray acquisition and detector control. MICS ? Microscope Image Capture System ? An IEEE 1394 based Microscope Image Capture System that provides X, Y scan generation and two analogue input channels. Pentium IV PC, monitor, and printer. Windows XP software platform ? for all data acquisition, analysis and reporting. Item 0004: SwiftED installation and software familarization, Part Number INSEGR.
