- Sources sought for market research and interested firms for Custodial Services at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The resulting contract will require the contractor to provide custodial services for multiple buildings throughout the base. The purpose of market research is to determine the common practices used in the commercial marketplace and the commercial/industrial standards available. Respondents are requested to complete the attached market research questionnaire and may be asked to participate in verbal discussions concerning commercial practices. Any firms who participated in the market research should submit the questionnaire to SSgt Danielle Mullin by fax at (208) 828-6486 or email at Danielle.mullin@mountainhome.af.mil, by 23 April 07. After market research is completed, the government will determine what industry standards will be included in the performance work statement and the type of business program consideration under which this solicitation will be issued. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561720, the size standard is $15 million. The Government anticipates setting this requirement aside to 8(a) businesses in Idaho and states bordering Idaho; however, market research is appreciated from any size firm. The bordering states are Montana, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Oregon, and Nevada. It is requested that interested firms notify this office, in writing or by email, of their intention to submit proposals on the requirements as early as possible but not later than 27 April 07.
