- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this effort is R-DEN-02165. This requirement is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The North American Classification Code is 541191 (Title Abstract and Settlement Offices) and size standard of $6.5 million. The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for commercial closing agent services for HUD-owned single-family properties located in the entire State of Iowa under the jurisdiction of the Santa Ana Homeownership Center (SAHOC). Offerors are advised that the following Federal Acquisition Regulation Clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52-212-1 (Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items), 52.212-2 (Evaluation ? Commercial Items), 52-212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items). Offeror must include a completed contract provision at 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) with its offer. All clauses are available in the supplemental documents to this notice.
