- THIS IS A COMPETITIVE ACQUISITION SET ASIDE FOR HUB ZONE SMALL BUSINESSES. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals to provide for Meeting Logistics for Rural Hospital Issues Group (RHIG) carried out by the Office of Rural Health Policy. Because of their small size, low patient volume and remote locations, small rural hospitals face many challenges under the Medicare prospective payment systems. In order to help better understand the issues facing the providers, a group comprised of hospital administrators, financial officers, consultants and accountants that work with these facilities will be brought together to discuss their current concerns with the payment systems, identify emerging issues and share opportunities for improvement to their reimbursement. This is a NEW REQUIREMENT and there is no incumbent. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement 561920, ?Convention and Trade Show Organizers? and the small business size in dollars is $6M. This will be a cost plus fixed fee contract under FAR Part 15. The period of performance will be for 12 months with two 12 month option periods. A solicitation will be issued electronically, and will be available for downloading from this site on or about May 1, 2007. The due date for questions is May 15, 2007 no later than 5:00 p.m. EST. The due date for proposals is May 31, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. EST. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
