- This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. In addition to those NSNs specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs for which one, any, or all of the following is/are approved source(s): Tyco Electronics, Cage Code 06090. NSNs within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract at a later date in accordance with clause I16C04 ? Addition/Deletion of Items. ( X ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of MAY 2, 2007. ( X ) Drawings/specifications will be available for applicable NSNs through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available for all NSNs. (X ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. ( X ) This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5935, 5940, 5975, 5985, 5999, 6145. (X ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Tyco Electronics 06090 on all 27 NSNs, Electro Adapter, Inc. 31461 on 4 NSNs, McDonnell Douglas Helicopter 8V613 on 2 NSNs, Lockheed Martin 81755 on one NSN, and Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable 90484 on one NSN. 10.
