The work consists of repairing bank stabilization structures along the Arkansas River NM 308.7 to 0.0 by adding stone-fill revetments and dikes, trench-fill revetments, and wood pile revetments and dikes; by re connecting the structures to the bank with bankheads and roots; by constructing wraparounds at ends of revetments; by extending and raising existing structure and constructing new structures to improve the channel and reduce dredging requirements; and real igning existing revetments. Magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000. The solicitation will be posted on or about 23 April 2007.
