- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2ETGT7095A1, and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract, the award to be based on lowest price, technically acceptable offer able to meet the delivery dates specified in Project Description, below. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-15. The award is unrestricted as to business size or socio-economic status. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423810, the small business (SB) size standard for this code being 100 employees. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Repair John Deere Model 862B Pan Scraper, Serial no. 92D00664. Quote to include contractor pickup from and return of machine to Holloman AFB, NM 88330 CLIN 0001: TRANSMISSION DIAGNOSIS, Separate engine and transmission, diagnose/troubleshoot, provide report of findings and estimate of time, labor, and materials required to repair either or both (if necessary). Replace transmission seal. Diagnosis/estimate is to include starter system. Quote parts and labor for actual teardown and reassembly of engine-transmission power pack separately from those for repair estimate; CLIN 0002: REPLACE OSCILLATION HITCH BUSHINGS, Replace oscillation hitch-to-main frame bushings. Quote parts and labor separately. CLIN 0003: PAN UNIT REPAIR, Replace elevator chain, sprockets, idler adjusting arm, lower idler shafts, upper idler shafts, and all associated hardware. Provide itemized list of parts/parts kits replaced. Quote parts and labor separately. All work, to include transportation of scraper unit to and from Holloman AFB, NM 88330, to be accomplished no later than 1 May 2007. All materials to be quoted FOB Destination, and are to include applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax. Funds for this acquisition are not currently available, and actual purchase is contingent on funding being made available. Price to be quoted FOB Destination, Holloman AFB, NM 88330.
