- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR FAC 2005-12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a firm-fixed price procurement and will be procured using commercial procedures. Solicitation Number is FA4809-07-Q-0128. The NAICS code 532111 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 23.5 Million dollars . The item descriptions are as follows: CLIN 0001: Twenty-nine (29) Full Size cars for use 9-13 May 2007 - Price per vehichle per day $_________________ Cumulative Price $____________________.. CLIN 0002: Seventeen (17) Mini-vans for use 9-13 May 2007 - Price per vehichle per day $_________________ Cumulative Price $____________________. CLIN 0003: Twenty (20) Mid-size cars for use 9-13 May 2007 - Price per vehichle per day $_________________ Cumulative Price $____________________. TOTAL PRICE FOR ALL VEHICLES $ ______________________________. Vehicle pick-up dates will range from 9 to 11 May 2007. The price quoted per vehicle per day should be fixed (not relative to the number of days and/or the number of vehicle is rented) so that the Government may add to or reduce the number of days and/or vehicles, without having the per-day price fluctuate. All vehicles will need to be delivered to Seymour Johnson AFB the day before they are to be used by 6:00 P.M. EDT. All vehicles will be delivered to Seymour Johnson AFB the day before without being charged for that day?s rental. All vehicles should be available for pick-up with more then ? of a tank of gas. Upon return, vehicle fuel levels shall be accepted as is. Vehicles should be year model 2004 or newer. A representative from your company shall be available on site for issuing/returning vehicles from 9 May 07 through 14 May 2007. Exact times representatives shall be available will be sent in writing to the resultanc contractor prior to the show along with the dates each of the vehicles will be due for pick-up. All bids should include the following: Daily Rate for each type of vehicle, CLIN Totals and Total for all vehicles for all days. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; The RFQ should be submitted and shall contain the following information: 1) RFQ number, 2) time specified for receipt of offers, 3) name, address, and telephone number of offeror, 4) terms of any express warranty, 5) price and any discount terms, 6) a completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3 Alt 1 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (see FAR 52.212-3(j) for those representations and certifications that the offeror shall complete electronically); Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration, (IAW FAR 4.1201 prospective contractors must be registered in the Online Representative & Certification Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov ) 7) Period for acceptance of offers - The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation, 8) Late offers - Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is ?late? and will not be considered.
