- Description
- The government requires Radiology Services for the Veterans Administration's Florence Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The contract shall provide radiological services that include examinations, interpretations, reading and reporting of chest films, plain bone films, annual mammograms and other referred work with the results of the exams and interpretations dictated, transcribed and faxed to the VA CBOC Florence, SC within 48 hours. Abnormal results will be called in to the CBOC or during after-hours to the on-call physician. The radiology program shall be accredited by the American College of Radiologists. The Radiologists interpreting, reading and reporting films must be credentialed through the Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center prior to working under the potential contract. Exams shall be completed on the day of the physician's order, whenever possible, for the convenience of the patients to preclude a return trip to Florence.
