- The Humboldt-Toiyabe has an urgent need for the following services. The window of opportunity is very short. We must ask the quotes be delivered to the Contracting Officer no later than 4/30/2007, with best possible pricing. Please send copy of applicable licensure, certifications, insurance, etc. WITH the quotation. Award will almost certainly be based on initial quotations. Please furnish Past Performance points of contacts for your last 3 jobs, and information on proposed key personnel. Past performance and experience will be considered approximately equal with price. DESCRIPTION - The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished in RFQ) and incidentals necessary to spray approximately 1386 Jeffrey pine and 389 lodgeopole pine, for a total of approximately 1775 trees, on the Carson and Bridgeport Ranger Districts to prevent Jeffrey pine and mountain pine beetle attacks and protect campground improvements. In addition, contractor will be required to obtain all licensing and adhere to all requirements for spraying carbaryl in the State of California, counties of Alpine and Mono. LOCATIONS All trees to be sprayed are located within campgrounds or high use dispersed sites (trailheads) on the Carson and Bridgeport Ranger Districts of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
