Description
This acquisition is for a firm fixed price purchase on NSN: 4920-00891-3616RN This item is Noun: Electronic Test Set, P/N: 6798233L. This item will be solicited with a quantity range of 16ea in the basic year, and 4 option years with following qty: OPTION I( 1-20ea.), OPTION II( 1-20ea),OPTION III(1-20ea.), OPTION III(1-20ea.) This test set can perform +the following tests on the Allison Model T56 Turbopropengine, static checkout of the complete temperature datum system, and a Calibration check on the turbine inlet temperature indicator.Size/DIM:12 inches Height, 11 inches width, 10 inches depth, 16lbs weight. Predominant Mtrl of Manufacture: numerous electronic Components. The approximate RFP issue date will be 30 April 2007 with an approximate response date of 31 May 2007. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. RFP will not be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov., and companies requiring a copy please make your request to the following e-mail address: Fredrick.sterdivant@robins.af.mil. No telephone requests and no hard copies will be mailed out. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Nothing in this notice contradicts other restrictions, identified in the synopsis notice or solicitation, regarding eligible sources (e.g., if this is a small-business set-aside, foreign sources may not participate as potential prime contractors but could, if otherwise eligible, participate as subcontractors). This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC ( 1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. US contractors must submit a copy of their current approved DD form 2345 with their request for password access. To Request this certification, write to the commander, Defense Logistics Services Center, ATTN: DLSC- FEB, Federal Center, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 and request a copy of DD form 2345 or call DLSC at the above number.
