- Amendment 0001 is to extend the response due date until 25 APR 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific, allowing additional time to find a replacement for Line Items 0005 and 0006. The Defense Media Center Contracting Office intends to award a contract to overall lowest bidder that meets the terms and conditions of the solicitation for a Panasonic Digital Communications Surveillance System as issued under solicitation HQ0028-07-Q-0013 that is to be shipped to the Naval Media Center Afloat Division, Gaithersburg MD 20879. Substitutes will not be accepted based on the attached Brand Name Justification, because items must interface with existing equipment. The Request for Quotation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 dated 22 MAR 2006. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334310; the small business threshold is 750. To be eligible for an award resulting from this solicitation, the Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and registered under ORCA (Representations & Certifications) and an authorized Panasonic Digital Communications distributor.
