Fuzzy Logic Toolbox Maintenance * Part number: SUBFL * (quantity required: 1 each) 6.) System Identification Toolbox Maintenance * Part number: SUBID * (quantity required: 1 each) 7.) Simulink? Response Optimization Maintenance * Part number: SUBNC * (quantity required: 1 each) 8.) Neural Network Toolbox Maintenance * Part number: SUBNN * (quantity required: 1 each) 9.) Wavelet Toolbox Maintenance * Part number: SUBWA * (quantity required: 1 each) NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from The MathWorks. This procurement is for the renewal of a Software Maintenance Service license for Matlab? and Simulink? products licensed to users at the NASA Glenn Research Center. Matlab? and Simulink? are exclusive products of the MathWorks Corporation. Renewal of this Software Maintenance Service license is necessary to provide uninterrupted services including product updates, bug fixes, and technical support. Because Matlab? and Simulink? are exclusive products of the MathWorks Corporation, only Mathworks can provide the required Software Maintenance Service. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than noon local time on 04/20/2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
