- The Naval Inventory Control Point - Mechanicsburg, PA intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Intergraph Corporation, Huntsville, AL for the award of a 545-day indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (ID-IQ) contract for NAVSEA CAD follow-on systems, supplies and services. This includes NAVSEA CAD follow-on requirements for highly specialized IT (information technology) engineering systems/spare parts, design software, performance based support services, and, maintenance and training for products previously acquired where Intergraph Corporation has unique qualifications to support various IT / CAD (computer-aided-design) projects at Navy and other Government sites. This solicitation will be issued on (or about) 02 MAY 2007. Only one responsible source is capable of providing supplies compatible with existing fielded systems without substantial duplication of costs; and, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is fo r informational purposes only and the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the firm identified herein.
