- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement to procure oak hardwood timber in support of Yokosuka and Sasebo Ship Repair Facility. The Government?s desired receipt date is June 9th, 2007. Shipping will be FOB Origin. This requirement will be evaluated on a low price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. The commercial solicitation, N00406-07-T-0877, will be issued on or about 12 April 2007 with a closing date of on or about 26 April 2007. Proposed contract to be procured as a firm fixed price requirement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. All details will be contained in the solicitation. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: www.neco.navy.mil. Search for solicitation under solicitation number with no dashes. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
