- THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT UNDER SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL N69450-07-Q-0080, JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR MARINE CORPS RESERVE CENTER, BATON ROUGE, LA. THIS SOLICITATION IS A SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 561720, and the small business size standard is $15.0 Mill. The Federal Supply Code is S201 Custodial-janitorial. The services includes the Contractor furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, consumables, and supervision necessary for floor cleaning, toilet and fixture cleaning, servicing of the washroom dispensers, and other miscellaneous tasks as specified herein. Services shall be performed at the Marine Corps Reserve Center located at 8410 General Chennault Drive, Baton Rouge LA 70807. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. For instructions on registering with the CCR, please visit the website for CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to issue the solicitation and amendments for this Solicitation/Request for Quotes (RFQ), electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil only. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals will be due by April 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm (EDT). Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
