- Sources Sought Synopsis Laboratory Analysis to Support Water Quality Monitoring of Omaha District, Corps of Engineers Reservoirs and the Missouri River. The Omaha District, Corps of Engineers, Omaha, NE is conducting market research to identify potential qualified Small Business sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience necessary to meet the Army requirements to provide and perform a s prime contractors for Laboratory Analysis of Omaha District Water Quality Samples. Laboratory must be accredited pursuant to the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). Laboratory must be certified, by the State in which it resides, for water quality analysis pursuant to the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Laboratory must be located in the Omaha, Nebraska metropolitan area. Work consists of laboratory analysis of water and sediment samples collected by the Omaha District. Collected samples include: 1) ambient surface water samples from District reservoirs, rivers, and streams; 2) runoff surface water samples from inflows to District reservoirs, and 3) sediment and elutriate samples collected at Missouri River restoration sites. Collected samples will be analyzed by the selected laboratory for various physical, chemical, biological, and bacteriological water quality parameter s. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380 Testing Laboratories, with a small business size standard of $11.0 million.
