- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7011. The NAICS code is 721110. Solicitation is full and open competition with no restrictions. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging to support Annua l Training at Jackson Barracks in the New Orleans, LA area and lodging cite must be located within 20 miles of Jackson Barracks (6400 St. Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70146). Onsite laundry services preferred but not recommended. Line items are as follows: Item 1) Rental of fifteen (15) double occupancy rooms (30 PAX) for the period of 5 19 May 2007; Item 2) Rental of fifteen (15) double occupancy rooms (30 PAX) for the period 19 May 2 June 2007; 3) Rental of twenty-five (25) double occupancy rooms (50 P AX) for the period 2 16 June 2007; Item 4) Rental of twenty-five (25) double occupancy rooms (50 PAX) for the period 16 30 June 2007; Item 5) Rental of twenty-five (25) double occupancy rooms (50 PAX) for the period 7 21 July 2007; Item 6) Rental of twenty-six (26) double occupancy rooms (51 PAX) for the period 21 July 4 August 2007. Government site visit is optional. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely at no cost to the Government. The Government reser ves the right to cancel after award if lodging facility is unsatisfactory or found to be non-compliant with the requirements. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price if determined to be of best value to the Government. Pay ment shall be based on occupancy only. Facility must be registered with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Fire Prevention and Control. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Co mmercial Items apply to this acquisition. Offerors need to include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in CCR, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and T ax ID Numbe r). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clauses include: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans an d Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports of Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registrat ion or certify that clauses are complete/updated in ORCA.
