- This is a solicitation for commercial items to be acquired under FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA8751-07-Q-0253 is issued as a REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of any amendments or other pertinent information. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 200516 and DCN 20070327. This RFQ is issued as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The SIC is 3679. The FSC is 5998. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a result of this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government based on price, technical capability, and past performance. Offerors are not required to submit past performance information since it may be obtained by the Government from sources either inside or outside the Government. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this RFQ but only if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. This RFQ consists of the following items: ITEM 1: PERIODIC ANTENNA QTY: 12 DESCRIPTION: CUSTOM DUAL POLARIZED LOG ANTENNA 100 to 1100 MHz ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: FREQUENCY RANGE: 100 MHz to 1.1 GHz VSWR (avg): less than 2:1 FRONT TO BACK RATIO: 20 Db MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS POWER: 1Kw PEAK POWER: 1.3 Kw IMPEDANCE: 50 ohms CONNECTOR TYPE: N FEMALE PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS HEIGHT(at highest point): 5.4 cm WIDTH (at widest point): 150 cm DEPTH: 150 cm WEIGHT: 3.4 kg Offerors shall provide at least the same warranty terms, including extended warranties, offered to the general public in customary commercial practice. The estimated delivery date is 24 May 2007. The FOB destination point is AFRL/IF, Rome, NY. The following provisions and clauses are of particular importance to offerors.
