- Description: This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This acquisition is set forth to provide install two in-line duct fans that supply air conditioning to the patient rooms on floor 4 - 10 in the main tower of Building #1. The fans will be installed on the 13th floor Mechanical Room inside the main round duct runs off AHU 01 located on the roof top. These fans will be suspended from the ceiling and installed on a Saturday. System will need to down for installation. The new fans will be Green Heck, Model 36TCF-3-11; on e will supply 23900 cfm @ 8" sp. The second will supply 21100 cfm @ 8" sp. both will have 50 hp, 460 volt with bolted access doors, hanging spring isolators and ODP enclosure. The price includes all labor and material. Contractor is to wire and start up units. For any other information will be provided during a site visit only. The offeror is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from BOS website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Miami VA Healthcare System, and Miami, FL. Proposal shall be submitted by April 24, 2007 at 4:00 pm (EDT) either by mail or hand carried. Fax/E-mail proposals shall not be accepted.
