- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources capable of furnishing off-site, Transcriptions Services for the VA Medical Center, Asheville, North Carolina (VAMC Asheville). The NAICS code is 561410 for this procurement. Size standard is $6.5 million. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned. Firm's number of years in the business of Transcription. Experience in providing Department of Veterans Affairs transcription services and familiarity with VA's internal VISTA system. Ability to meet short TAT's (turn around times), on some documents in as little as 2 hours, and the ability to transcribe an approximate volume of on average up to 100,00 lines per month. In addition, please indicate what if any percentage of the work is subcontracted.
