- Description
- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to negotiate with the Tele Atlas Inc. The Contractor shall procure 100 (upgrade) users software licenses for the Dymap/Transportation map set in ArcView format version 8 for 1 year. Licenses cost for these map sets will be shared between the Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA) to research the use of this product in the data systems with the Department. Interested firms must identify their capability to respond to the work. The written response must included detailed information as to professional qualification and relevant expertise/specifically addressing organization/personnel experience relating to the specific requirement above. Expressions of interest without sufficient detail to permit evaluation of capabilities will not be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations nor is a Request-for-Quotations solicitation. It is anticipate that a Fix-Price Simplified Acquisition will be awarded for this effort. The period of performance is being around May 2007 and completed by March 31, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of deterring whether to conduct a competitive simplified acquisition. In the absence of responses from interested firms demonstrating their capability, NHTSA intends to request a quotation from TeleAtlas Inc., on a non-competitive basis for the work described. Responses must be received in the listed procuring office by April 25, 2007.
