- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to issue RFP-PHX-0136 for the project entitled re-coat water tank at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Phoenix, Arizona. The contracting officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed unit price indefinite delivery type contract. The successful contractor will be required to fully re-coat, interior and exterior, and repair the 500,000 gallon potable water tank. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS is 332420 and the size standard is $13.0 million. The solicitation will be available on/about April 24, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov and www.orca.bpn.gov. Residency requirements are applicable to this solicitation. Bidding officials and contractor employees working under this contract on Federal grounds, will be required to sign a certification that for three of the five years immediately prior to responding to this solicitation, the bidder has: resided in the United States; worked for the U.S. overseas in a Federal or military capacity; or has been a dependent of a Federal or military employee serving overseas. The estimated closing date for request for proposal is due is on/about May 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. (PST). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
