Description
THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO RFP IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Based on capability statements received from this announcement, this acquisition may be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All Small Business Concerns (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.) are encouraged to respond to this notice. INTERESTED ORGANIZATIONS PRESENTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT MUST IDENTIFY THEIR SIZE STATUS. Small Business Concerns must have their size status verified by the Small Business Administration, if applicable. The North American Industrial Classification Code System (NAICS) is 541690 with a size standard of $6,500,000. The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), National Institutes of Health, is SEEKING SMALL BUSINESSES WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND CAPABILITIES TO CODE GRANT, CONTRACT, AND RESEARCH PROJECT DATA. This requires knowledge of scientific and medical terminology. EMAIL DUSTA@OD.NIH.GOV FOR THE FULL STATEMENT OF WORK. General requirements will consist of performing the following tasks: 1. Code all grant applications reviewed at the National Deafness and other Communication Disorders (NDCD) Advisory Council meetings. 2. Code all NIDCD contract and research projects as they become available. 3. Maintain scientific coding on all currently active projects. 4. Serve as resource for the development and maintenance of NIDCD and NIH databases, applications and knowledge management systems related to grant, contract and Intramural projects. 5. Work with staff of the scientific program areas to ensure all scientific coding and data reporting needs are met. 6. Work with staff of other NIDCD offices to provide reporting data to requestors outside NIDCD. 7. Ensure all work is in compliance with the NIDCD scientific coding manual and rules implemented within the NIDCD scientific coding system. SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS THAT BELIEVE THEY POSSESS THE CAPABILITY NECESSARY TO UNDERTAKE THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK SHOULD SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL AND ONE (1) COPY OF THEIR CAPABILITY STATEMENT TO THE ADDRESS SHOWN BY 4:00pm on 12 APRIL 2007. Electronic copies of capability statements will also be accepted and can be emailed to: dusta@od.nih.gov. Please reference the solicitation number on all related correspondence. Telephone calls will not be accepted. NOTE: Last day to submit capability statements is changed to 12 April 2007. Interested parties must email dusta@od.nih.gov for a copy of the Statement of Work.
