- The USDA/Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Microsoft Corporation of Dallas, TX for the renewal (Option 1) of Microsoft Premier Support Services. The period of performance for the award is one (1) year with four (4) one year options. No other vendors have direct access to Microsoft source code and developers, which are essential for the immediate access the USDA/FNS needs to resolve system failures that may impact operations. The authority cited for this procurement is 41 U.S.C. 252 (c)(1) as implemented. There is only one responsible source and no other sources, supplies, suppliers, or services will meet the requirement. All communications will be by e-mail. There will be no responses to requests for information and/or questions.
