Description
Solicitation SPM7L2-07-R-0076 is an unrestricted acquisition for NSN 2540-01-471-5071, Rhino Hook Assembly. Approved source is Cage 09BG8 P/N 12468660. This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity type contract with an estimated annual quantity of 672. NSN requires Destination Inspection and Acceptance and FOB Destination. Destinations may include any DSCC stock sites within CONUS. The required delivery is for 168 units to be delivered in 120 days with another 84 units every 30 days until complete. The solicitation will be available on the internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after its issue date of May 7, 2007. The solicitation WILL NOT be available before the issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. A written quotation is required to be returned to the DSCC Bid Room, DSCC-PBA. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. See Numbered Note(s): 12, and 26. Notice to All Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item I, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards."
