- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. for the acquisition of three (3) A/C Install/Removal Bushing Maintenance Kits, P/N 74D110519-1003 to support Intermediate Maintenance Concept (IMC) sites for the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. The Bushing Maintenance Kit will be used to remove and replace old bushings on the Inner Wing Panel and Outer Wing Panel. This contract will be a delivery order under BOA N68335-06-G-0024. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
