Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to ensure that the trash rack is clear enough of vegetation that it allows a minimum of 10 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water to pass through (historically this requires no l ess then 4 site visit per week variable with weather conditions and water flow). The rack shall be cleared in a manner that allows water to pass through the culvert and normally consists of working the vegetation out of the trash rack, removing woody debr is, and freeing the rack from any other natural or man-made debris that floats into the intake. Traditionally this work has been completed using either basic landscaping tools (e.g. rake, shovel) or by hand.
