- Amendment 02 is hereby issued against Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) W52H09-07-T-0328 which posted at ASFI on March 22, 2007, and Amendment 01 which posted at ASFI on March 27, 2007 for procurment for four (4) Humidity Control Chambers. Amendm ent 02 extends the date and time for receipt of offer/quotes. Offer/quotes shall be submitted electronically by the date and time specified below. The CSS was issued for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as suppl emented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be issued through ASFI/FedBizOps as will a ny amendments thereto. This solicitation is issued as a firm, fixed-priced Request for Quotes (RFQ) identified as W52H09-07-T-0328 for four (4) Humidity Control Chambers which meet the following requirements identified below as the Description of Purchase. Contractors will be evaluated on the lowest price that meets the requirements of the purchase description. Required Delivery Date is 10-12 weeks after date of award. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, 1 Rock Island Ar senal Bldg 131 (Basement), Rock Island, IL 61299. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Sep 2006); FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Nov 2006); FA R 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (Feb 2 007); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Feb 2006) along with additional FAR clause s cited under paragraph (b) 14, 15, 16, 17, 1 8, 19, 26, and 31. Since this is a CSS and any further amendments are being issued and posted on the solicitation information page, it is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain and respond to any said amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers/proposals may be render your offer/proposal nonresponsive and no longer considered further for award. Offers are due by April 16, 2007, 12:00 PM(noon) CST.
