Description

The U.S. Army RDECOM - Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army  Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA has a requirement for a Low-Noise Electrical Probe Station. The requirement will be filled utilizin g Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as suppl emented with additional information included in this notice. FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items are appl icable to this acquisition. The Required Technical Characteristics of the Low-Noice Electrical Probe Station are as follows : Must have platen a.k.a .semi-ring ( having space for probes on at least 4 different positioners ). Must have 400X microscope mounted on boom, movable 6 ch uck. Must have 3 positioners with needle probes, camera system , darkbox, 1-yr warranty, and vacuum pump. QUOTES SHOULD BE F.O.B DESTINATION (NATICK, MA). This notice constitutes the request for quotes (RFQ) and is the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should submit quotes and Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items to Mr. Thomas F. Roan Jr. , by fax to fax number (508) 233-5286, or by e-mail to thomas.roan@natick.army.mil concerning this acquisition.. This announcement expires at 5:00 p.m. local time on Monday , April 16, 2007.
