- Description of Work: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, qualified supervision and transportation to complete all work associated with the replacement of the air handlers in SPD (Supply Processing & Distribution) in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work included mechanical, electrical and general construction. All work to be performed at the Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC. NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Firms meeting this criterion must request drawings in writing and at the time of request must be registered in Central Contractor Registry and the Center for Veterans Enterprise (VetBiz) website. Telephone requests will not be honored. The requestor is responsible for the readability of faxed requests. The requestor is also responsible for downloading all solicitation documents and amendments that are posted to the website. No paper solicitations will be issued. Twenty (20) sets of drawings are available and will be issued on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. Prior to submitting a bid, the firm must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Government-wide numbered note 29 applies to this procurement. The solicitation documents will be uploaded on/about April 18, 2006. Bid opening will be on/about May 23, 2007.
