- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis; a purchase order to IEEE INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION INC, 445 Hoes Ln. Piscataway, NJ 08854-4141. The office of Shared Services, FDA Biosciences Library has a requirement to renew a site license for this database with content relevant to the work of FDA reviewers and other agency staff. IEL provides access to a third of the world?s current electrical engineering and computer science literature. This subscription provides access to copyrighted material by the owners with the legal rights to publish and distribute this material. This product is the only one of its kind to bring the complete works of both the IEEE and IEE since 1988. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES; however, sources may submit descriptive material of their capabilities which will be considered by the agency. This is a simplified acquisition being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13 procedures. The anticipated award date is April 16, 2007. The contract specialist is Christopher E. Cunningham.
