- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Apache?Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Construction of Hwy 191 Scenic Byway Day Use Development. The project consists of installing 3 government furnished / delivered prefabricated vault toilets, grills, picnic tables, and constructing concrete and aggregate picnic pads, parking pads, associated walkways, with the option of 3 kiosks and pads on the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway at three separate sites on the Clifton Ranger District, between milemarker 212 and 216 on Arizona Highway 191, Greenlee County. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the Request For Proposal (RFP) format. This project has been set-aside 100% for Small Business Administration certified Hubzone Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business under NAICS code 237990. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after March 8, 2006, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Contractors must now be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) databases. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. You may request printed copy of the solicitation package by Fax to: (928) 333-5966, Attn: Margaret Cisco . A formal Pre-Proposal/Site Visit will not be scheduled. All parties interested in visiting the site may schedule an appointment with the Project Engineer, Deborah MacIvor, (928) 333-4301, from March 8, 2006 through March 15, 2006. The last day to request proposal packages shall be March 14, 2006. The Closing Date for Offers shall be March 22, 2006, 4:30 p.m. local time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-FEB-2007).
