- SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION: This sole source acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-07-Q-Q451, which is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334611. The government intends to award a sole source contract to Lawson Software, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota for its proprietary software product. The requirement consists of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): CLIN 0001: 1 each Lawson System Foundation and CLIN 00 02: 1 each Lawson Software Maintenance. Brand name only, no substitutions. The required delivery for CLINS 0001 and 0002 is within 15 days of contract award. Delivery to the Navy Supply Information Systems Activity, Attn: Michelle Croyle, Building 409, Code 924, 5454 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0787. Inspection and acceptance are FOB destination. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: Time of Delivery. (6/97); FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (a) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, Alternate I (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (a), (b)(1), (5), (7), (11-16), (21), (24), (d) and ( e). Quotes must be received by no later than 4:30 PM EST, April 13, 20 07 and shall be emailed to lauren.johnson@navy.mil (any attachments should be in Word, Rich Text Format, or PDF) and must not exceed 2MB.
