- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The following is a synopsis prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemental information included in this notice. The quotation number is N00178-07-Q-1163 and is a request for quotation. This announcement constitutes the only quotation being issued. A written quotation will not be issued. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their fax quote to (540) 653-7088 or email quote to dlgr_nswc_xds11@navy.mil and shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), 17632 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110. All offerors must be advised that they must be active in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov before award can be made. NSWCDD intends to award on a sole-source basis to Sierra Nevada Corporation, 1777 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 23454, an order for QTY 3 Tacticomp 1.5 mesh 2.xxx w/STS 1.0 ArcPAd and (PN 900-00007-ORD-09) and Qty 1Versitile Access Point w/5 watt amplifier (P/N 900-00009-ORD-03). Brand Name or equal is not acceptable. No other parts will satisfy the Government???s requirement. 100 percent compatibility with existing parts is needed and the use of other parts would require cost prohibitive adjustments. The closing date is 10 April 2007, 2:00 p.m. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall apply to this acquisition. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis by NSWCDD, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 200, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. NSWCDD Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY.Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded the most recent info or amendments. Offer is due 10 April 2007 no later than 2 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 200, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110, with faxed copies acceptable.
