- This notice is not a solicitation announcement and will not constitute any commitment by the Government. A market survey is being conducted to gain knowledge of potential qualified small business sources to determine if they can effectively compete for award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base and four option years with an estimated value of $500,000.00 per year totaling $2.5 million. Only Small Business firms shall respond to this notice. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District anticipates future procurement requirements for a Staffing Agency to provide professional registered nurses who can provide Occupational Health Nursing Services for the South Atlantic Division (SAD) covering the states of Alab ama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Services will be provided to federal employees of participating agencies in accordance with the SAD Regional Occupational Health Center (ROHC), Public Health Regulations, an d other directives/protocols. The Regional Occupational Health Center is located in the Federal Building, 109 St. Joseph Street, Mobile, AL. The ROHC will provide direction for Occupational Health Services within the Region. It is recommended that the Nurse Support in the region be recruited in, or around the various District Offices: Mobile - AL (Occupational Health Clinic - on site), Jacksonville - FL (Occupational Health Clinic- on site with periodic relief and additional nursing support services), Savannah- GA, Wilmington - NC and Charleston - SC (periodic assignment for health promotion no on-site clinic). Sources are being sought for firms with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561310. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual gross revenue does not exceed $6.5 million for the past three years. Documentation should be submitted with the following considerations: 1. Occupational Nurses must have at least 3 years of ex perience in medical surgical or critical care nursing with an interest in Occupational Health. Occupational Health Nursing experience is preferred. Provide copies of Registered Nurses licenses in respective states where services are to be rendered. 2. Provide the number of experienced nurses you have on staff for on-call services and indicate the ability to maintain a pool of approved and oriented nurses for on-call purposes. 3. Provide proof of financial capabilities for work and travels to other sta tes. 4. Discuss how agency will ensure coverage of nursing personnel in the event of absence of the assigned nurse contractor. 5. Discuss capability to provide a nurse from an approved and oriented pool of nurses within 24 hours or less of notification of need. 6. Provide evidence of Professional Nurse Malpractice Insurance.
