- The Anniston Army Depot is seeking educational entities who can provide information related to Hybrid Drive Technology. This information should be in the form of: 1. History and Evolution of hybrid drive technology. Examples of early applications, pr oblems encountered and solutions that were developed to carry the technology to its current use today. 2. Technical description of hybrid drive systems currently in production and in prototype stages today. 3. Types of control systems currently used to man age the drive train system and how this control system interfaces the vehicle operator. 4. Companies involved with commercial and military applications of hybrid drives. 5. Academic programs that teach design, theory, and application of hybrid drive techno logy. 6. Economic studies used to justify the application of hybrid technology.
