Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number W9127Q07R0005 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 -16. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside and is restricted to small businesses only in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b). NAICS for determination of size status is 423130; Small Business Standard is 100 employees. CLIN 0001: TIRE, PNEUMATIC, V EHICULAR for a 5-Ton 939 Series Truck; Qty 1,200ea.; Tire specification is restricted to approved manufacturers (Goodyear (G177), Cage 04NP3) Part Number 138-382-231, NSN 2610-01-473-3997, to be used with inner tube 11.00R20, flap included, (NSN 2610-00-0 29-0563). Additional manufacturers must be pre-approved per SAE J2014. Predominant material is rubber synthetic. Deliveries shall be made as three deliveries of 400ea. tires every 15 days with the first delivery within 15 days of contract award. Place of d elivery is: NGMS-DOL-RSMS, 6506 Warehouse Ave, Camp Shelby, MS 39407-5500. FOB Destination. Prices quoted must include all applicable delivery fees. The following provisions apply: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evalu ation  Commercial Items. Evaluation criteria will be based on past performance and price. Contractor will be required, upon request from the Government, to provide references to demonstrate capability to perform the requested services.
