Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under solicitation number W912LQ07T3002 issued on 6 Apr 07 for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation proposals are being requested with and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and FAR incorporated provis ions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. Provisions and clauses may be downloaded at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil. It is the responsibility of the offeror to be familiar with applicable clauses and provis ions. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(b). ---The NAICS code is 337215 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The 192FW MSG/MSC Contracting Office has a requirement to convert 102 single tier lockers int o 204 double tier lockers by purchasing/replacing doors and adding interior shelves and hardware. Delivery/installation of new doors and hardware will be Langley AFB VA 23665, buildings 789 and 791. The doors, shelves and hardware must match the existing lockers manufactured by Republic Storage Systems, color gray # 50. Each locker will have original base number plus A or B for the top and bottom locker. For example locker number 101 will now be 101A and 101B and the contractor must provide and install locker number plates. The new lockers doors will have recessed handles which match the existing locker doors. The doors shall be 16 gauges with louvers. The contractor is responsible for all clean up after installation. In addition, the contractor is r esponsible for the pick up and disposal of the old locker doors. The contractor will purchase and install the new locker doors and return the buildings to their original condition. The government will award a purchase order r esulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
